  1. You could charge them less I guess for the lesser experience. But unless they are customers who don't have control over what is installed on their desktop, all you're asking them to do is download and install a free upgrade to their browser.
  2. I guess it depends on the customer base for your site and their ability/willingness to upgrade IE. The fact is, IE6 SP2 goes out of Microsoft support in around 15 months time [July 2010]. Are your IE6 visitors paying customers? Are they going to keep with IE6? What is the cost of retaining them? Is the cost worth the retention? Eventually ensuring that your board supports IE6 is going to become your problem rather than IPS problem. But I guess the key question is "When"?
  3. If it's managed, does that mean other people are using it, so you may not be the cause of the problem? And if it's managed, the managers need to be managing this problem, not you!
  4. If you're running Linux, I suggest that you install mysqltuner. http://wiki.mysqltuner.com/MySQLTuner A sure sign that MySQL needs tuning is when your system CPU usage is low, but disk I/O is high.
  5. I like the distinction between 'suspend' and 'ban'. Suspend to me is a private/invisible thing [to other members]. The member remains in the same group, but their permissions and post restrictions are temporarily modified. Banning though means placing a member in a separate 'Banned' group. This group has very few permissions to do anything on the board. It's a conscious, manual effort by an Admin to move a member into the 'Banned' group. My 2p worth.
  6. On my Blackberry's main menu screen it shows me the latest unread email. If I read it, the display changes to show the next latest unread. And the read one disappears from the list. It would be nice if the 'Watched Content' in the sidebar behaved similarly.
  7. I notice that on a members profile view, the number of topic and post lists are hard coded as the most recent 5. It would be good if this was instead parameter driven in the ACP.
  8. It would be nice if some of the CPU settings in AdminCP instead of being toggled ON or OFF could be dynamic based on server load. The most obvious example is Allow users (where allowed) to use search?

Has this fix been installed? Because it appears to be still here? I just searched for calendar in IPB bug reports. Could not display the 2nd page.
