  1. fantastic theme. I'm readying it for production on my site. One issue I've run into is that one of my dropdown menus ends up with two rows of menu options (there are lots of car shows). The second row of menu items falls outside of the header and becomes difficult to see. Also, the menu bar doesn't seem to be left justified like the rest of the page.
  2. If I'm on the beta, I won't get the automatic update notifications, right?
  3. @HeadStand I got it working in Outlook by changing the image tag to. I run my images at 300px, but you get the idea. <img src="{$image}" width="300" style="width:100%; height:auto; max-width: 300px;........>
  4. Is there a way to get the template to a point where Outlook2016 will respect image sizes? Apparently, it can be done https://litmus.com/community/discussions/1007-outlook-image-sizes
  5. I'm surprised this isn't in there by default. If I ignore a user, that means I shouldn't see their stuff ever.
  6. I modified the content templates for a little different layout. Increased picture size, swapped in the teaser paragraph instead of content, added a call to action. Thank you for the updates, this is what I was looking for.
  7. I can't figure out how to get the html out of outlook. I'll beta test.
  8. I'm having a bug in the newsletter in certain email clients. In Gmail, the newsletter renders properly. In Outlook, somehow I get an extra logo image. The second heart you see in this image is part of a transparent gif and the lettering is white like above. The exact same email in the exact same account, but rendered through the Gmail client, comes out as expected.
  9. Any progress towards adding pictures from Pages article records? I'm having a couple of other formatting issues in email and in forums that I need to report. I'm seeing HTML code in previews of the post.
  10. Don't rush on my part. I just wanted to know if the end result was still possible.
  11. I'm confused as to where exactly "here" is...
  12. Okay, I'll follow the topic and probably buy it once you report that it is fixed. Is IPS aware of the issue?
  13. This is something I had been looking for. It is disappointing that IPS changed it. Do you think your workaround will stick?
  14. @HeadStand since the image field is a standard field in the default Pages article database, couldn't that be included in the newsletter?
  15. I can answer that one,... it doesn't work using the test distro button. What I do is create a test distro member group with myself as the only member and send to that.
  16. Thanks! Wow that is expensive when I only need one 1/10th of the total functionality it supplies.
  17. ... and pictures from Pages articles? ??
  18. So the one feature I would really like for this is the ability to REMOVE a tag from all instances that it appears. I have users tag posts with "the" or "two" or "bye" and which clearly aren't useful tags, so I want to be able to remove the dumb stuff. I realize this is possibly an entirely different app, but it would be a useful one for those of us with boards founded back in the stone age to be able to clean house.
  19. This appears to be breaking Https by showing mixed content. Can you update the url to request the https version instead of http version? I've disable this plug-in for now, though I really like it.
  20. That's fantastic! I (obviously) wasn't aware of that and it changes a lot of things for me and probably the original poster too. Thanks
  21. It sounds like the Inactive Members app would be really good for this. It will send an email with no other advertising in it and it can be a simple "Hey, you've gone stale. Click here to log in and reactivate your account", and if they don't respond then it can move them into another group making them immune to emails.
  22. If you haven't already, with regards to the marking as spam, you may want to look into a combination of SendGrid/SparkPost and the MailBouncer app. This will help you maintain compliance. I am not that familiar with GPDR, but are transactional emails treated differently than bulk email? Is sending out a "Hey, do you want to keep your account open?" email after 1 year of inactivity still considered spam?
  23. I have been a long time user of the app, so I can jump in with some answers. If you have these members already separated in groups somehow, then your life will be substantially easier. You can tailor newsletters to only send to specific groups. This also answers your point about Banned members. Just make sure your newsletter doesn't point to them. Yes, easily, and if you have multiple calendars, you can do a seperate newsletter for each. Yes, you can base it on number of views and number of replies, cut off for how old it is. I don't have downloads, but it works in Commerce. You can do any manually added content you like. It is under manage profile - Newsletters. You would need to setup a new Newsletter to default to no-one and then people would need to opt-in manually. I don't see anywhere in the app that recognizes that field in IPS. Headstand can correct me obviously. See above, probably not. You would probably need an app to move users into a group after their account has been stale for more than a year and then cut that group out of all distro lists. I use https://invisioncommunity.com/clients/purchases/58978-inactive-members/ and it works well. As the Opt-in during registration does not seem to integrate with this app, I would say this isn't possible. They would need to opt-in to each newsletter. Again, if I'm wrong Headstand will correct me. It would be a nice feature that the main Opt-In for bulk emails automatically subscribes the user to the default newsletters for their group membership. Hope this helps.
  24. Any word on 4.3 compatibility?
