Mark read is broke. It stopped working on beta 14. To duplicate: Mark site read. Title becomes normal although read marker button stays on. Refresh the page. All titles go to unread state. Read marker button still on. I found this because I always do a refresh after marking all read to clear the css button next to the title. Before beta 14 it would shut it off and leave all threads in read state. Now eveything returns to unread.

Mark as read is definitely broke. To duplicate: Mark all read - You'll notice what looks like missing phrases in the popup dialog. Refresh the page - The threads magically become unread again. Clearing your cookies has no effect. After logging back in you can duplicate the process above.

This has always done that for me. On v4.7.20 it also does this when viewing in grid mode. Have to refresh the page to turn it off.

Clear your browser cache of all cookies. It more than likely is a corrupt cookie.

I use Windows Server 2022 and 2025. I do get a warning in my dashboard about running Windows Servers. Been on Windows since 2001. Never had any problems with any version of IPB. I'm not sure when support for anything but lamp was started. When I started on 1.5 Windows was supported. When I left IPB while running 3.4 Windows was still supported. I remember giving Matt or Ryan, can't remember which for sure, admin access to the server to troubleshoot a problem. Problem was fixed. In any case as long as you have the knowledge and it seems you have tons you can make it work. Sorry to hijack your thread.

I got that error when I upgraded a site. I went into admin, cleared cache and restored the default style and the site came to life. I had some css edits. It is happily running on beta 5.

Upgraded no problems. This time the download and extract worked. Last time I had to manually download it and upgrade the old fashioned way.
