Same error back after updating to 3.0.5. RSS feeds links to admin panel login.

Allowing users to enter usergroups all by themselfes. (Of course only for those groups the admin will allow them to enter).

This is a standardfeature in all BBs i used/tested (and this is quiet a lot) and comes handy for many purposes. I don´t get it why IP works against an etablished standardfeature. :(

For example: at the moment i´m still on vB 3.8 and we´re using a specialgroup for user who wish to discuss social/political topics, so that other users are not disturbed by them...

We miss that feature a lot. I hope that feature makes it in 3.1. That feature is used extensively in gaming forums.

If this could be fixed it would be nice since I am also having same issues.

PS Thought to give a bump if they can add it in 3.0.5 or in 3.1.x

I think as it's being said "when it will be done" :P

We are also waiting as you are :P Since, they are in beta stage I am assuming at least 2-3 months.

* When you do search in PM box it will show you results. Now that search results don't have any option to move or delete. Please add option to delete and move.

It would be nice to have that feature. I never used IPB 2.x but from your post it seems it would be nice to have that feature back.

Few more bugs I found:

It shouldn't show page 4 with no tutorials in this section. Basically there are tutorials in that section.


Registered member shouldn't see sync all categories.


More or less when someone is viewing Tutorial application it breaks "Last Click" or "Member Name" view in active user of main forums.

This is already a per-group feature of IPB. You can setup signature restrictions for each group from the Manage Groups area of the ACP.

For some reason it never worked on 3.0.3. After looking at your post I again tried back and it worked. Seems like it's fixed in 3.0.4. My old topic.

I rebuild the signature cache and all is good now. Thank you :)

• New PM option in which if inbox is full old PM's get auto deleted. People often run out of 100 private message and auto deletion of old PM's helps.
• Ability to move PM to user defined folder from the PM conversations itself rather then main screen.
• Image size check in signature. If image link is used in signature it never checks it's size and any user can use 400w * 1000h image making it impossible to read forums. Forums doesn't look decent if everyone uses big and big signatures.
• One drop down menu on their profile which shows in how many groups user is member of including primary and secondary.
  

1. Yes I understand your point but we have also 4 skins and 3.0.5 is almost near.

2. It is mentioned in your main topic: "(No Template Edits Required.)" and "No Template Edits Required Except If Using IP.Portal. Two Edits Required."

But in the end it DOES require template edit. I think you should edit your main topic for future customers.

Ditto. Have purchased it since few days and never installed it seeing all template edits. Their are too many template edits and 3.0.5 is near.

But next time if I purchase anything again I will ask author if their are template edits or not. I assumed this hook didn't required any template edits since it was not mentioned anywhere on the download page.

More or less it had "(No Template Edits Required.)" in the main topic at like 2 places.

Is their anyway you can make this mod which will not require any template edits? I purchased thinking I will not have to do any edits. :)

4. Ability to move message to custom folder while viewing the message. The only way you can move the message to custom folder is from the main view.

I would actually like if they allow to choose display name different. I think i tried to login using Facebook and their was no option to change display name for me.

Most of the people on our forums have started using Facebook connect and it does have increased traffic.

Final question :P I have read in Google articles moving database through phpMyAdmin is only good if database is smaller then 10Mb. Since, I am not database geek I would like to know it's true or not?

Oh i was using same. :( I thought all sub domains and folders are included in one main profile of Google analytics.

Cool thanks. And one more last question. Does it makes huge difference if my website uses www.domain.com extension and forum uses .domain.com extension?

Does it effects page ranking? or Google analytics tracking?

Thanks got it working. :) For some reason it didn't worked for first time. I did run task again back and it worked well. We have only 3000 topics so it worked out pretty fast. Just to double check indexsitemap has only 2 links in it. forumsitemap.xml.gz and for topicsitemap.xml.gz. Is that how it should be?

Is their anyway to show sitemap on forums as a link?

In the docs it says CHMOD the above files to 0777. Does it also applies to task sitemap.php? More or less if I run task it only generates 2 or 3 links thats it.
