That's the problem. We have a handmade block with last poster icon, thread title, last poster name, last post time and number of posts - and every thread only once. I hope I can find out how to do this for v5. When I used the “latest post widget”, there was immediate grumbling from users.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to write a blog article about how users with plugins, apps and theme customizations can best proceed before upgrading. Something like “Reset all Pages databases to default templates”, “Delete old themes” (or not), “Delete plugins you are sure you don't need anymore”... So that at the end we have the cleanest possible IPS5 when we upgrade.

In IPS5 we have the new tags pages. I think it would be useful if we can also combine 2 tags. Explanation: Now, in IPS4, I have many tags like "Sony Experience", "Philips Experience", "Samsung Experience" - depending on the forum. With the new "central" tags, I would have to specify these many tags in the central settings. It would be easier if I only had to specify "Sony", “Philips”, "Samsung" and “Experience” separately and then, at the end, combine them into a tag page.

You can have TOC now. You have to drag the widget "Table of Content" to sidebar (in Page Editor to find under "System"). I tried not in forums but in Pages it works.

I feel you. With the plugin above you can put all threads with the wrong tag easy to your best tag. In your example you can type "arsenal" in plugin site in ACP and you see all other tags, "arsenal fc", "fc arsenal" and so on. One click, one typing of "arsenal" and all threads with "fc arsenal" are not more tagged with "fc arsenal" but with "arsenal".

I'm currently managing our tags with this: https://www.ic-essentials.com/files/file/7-tags-manager/ I hope to be done with that before I upgrade to IC5. It's a lot. But it makes sense.

@Jim M I have a long .htaccess file with many redirects because of a long history of our site. Would there be any solution for IC Cloud how I can use these redirects? So far, this is one of the reasons for not considering IC Cloud.

Do you plan a page for overview of all tags? I don’t want to have 25 tag pages (for example) in navigation, but one page with a list of all tags would be good.

Copy & Paste of URLs works on iPhone to other sites but not to IC sites. Tried here, on our site and in my test board (and of course on sites without IC).

I can confirm the issue by myself. I have an iPhone 13 with latest iOS. On iPad I can paste the URL, but not on iPhone. It‘s in Safari the same issue as in Firefox (on iPhone).

It would be nice if tag pages could be indexable for Google and Co. Or if we had the option to choose whether they are indexable or not.

If I‘m playing with Demo on https://tiptap.dev/ - there are tables (without Markdown) and Table of Content available. Will these functions also be available in the new IC5 editor?

Did you try his plugin? It works for me at latest version of IPS.

I was delighted when I read the announcement of the new function. When I tried it out on the test board, I realized that I had obviously misunderstood the feature. My use case: I have clubs mainly for people from one region. I thought I could now define a category in my Pages database (for example: Regional News) that can be used in the clubs - this one category. My hope was that all articles from the clubs would be visible in this category in my Pages database. And in the clubs, all articles written in the respective club would be visible. Or have I not found a setting that would do exactly that?
