If its an emergency that is causing your site not to work, you should have checked the urgent box when creating the ticket, which will speed up a support respsonse to you.

Hi there, great work with the icons! Just wondering though maybe you could for the saff & support icons have two stars for them? Also maybe for the banned icon maybe have a one of those red circles with the red line through it. And also perhaps for the member icon maybe have a litle member icon?

I'm proablly one of a few users out there that would still like to see IP Nexus or something similar to make an appearance, i can think of so many uses for it (having my own store), and plus it would cut down on costs for using other software.

Any thoughts? (even though it proablly won't happen lol) :hmm:

I thought i might share some of my ideas for a future realse of IP Subscriptions that i would like to see in it.

1. The ability to use a base package then be able to select a duration and pay for that. e.g. to become a premium member users need to pay, they can either have one year or two year subscriptions, instead of having two different packages the user could just select the one pack and chosse the duration.

2. Discounts/Promo's - Have the choice of offering discount coupons that work for all packs or for just one pack, that code being able o be used multipul times or just once. Also being able to offer discounts so it says like in red "sale xx% off".

I Think these would help a lot of communities out there.

I just want to know when this software is ready (final), if we can host it ourselves? I have no interest in letting IPS host anything for me since I have my own powerful serverfarm hosted on a dual gigabit connection. :)

If not, then I guess I'll just stick with my IRC server.

Currently there is no ETA on it, unforuently IPS currently only has plans (that we have been told of) to be only hosted on their servers. But it would intergrate easily into your forum, i think (correct me if i'm wrong) you upload Chat like an app to your forums and then enter the chat key (like the spam service) into it then it works! All the talking/messages in handled by their server. So you can still customise the theme etc

it would be nice to use this chat in our licenced board and test it. you know not much peoples go to this chat +- 20, in our board are +-100 peoples on shoutbox, maybe this would be better to test in our boards.

So we cannot host this ourselves no matter what? Can't say I'm keen on that idea. Instead we'd have to rely on IPS servers/connectivity and bandwidth to be stable enough between IPS and for example Iceland.

For those with own high-end servers I hope you see the chance of explaining what this "special tuning" thing is so we can do this ourselves.

IP Chat is hosted entirely on IPS servers, they are currently testing on their site to see what specs they will required for the servers and to improve the software. Basically you won't need to test it on your site as it all runs through IPS Servers not using your server, so you server should be fine. I'm IPS will have excellent and stable servers before they offer the product to everyone.

Reporting Users-

When dealing with a report on a user I would like to see past issues (if any) about the user.

I would like the user to be able to reply to the ticket about them and be able to add to the ticket for other moderators to see.

Would like to see the "Member Warning Center" incorporated here.

If IPS wants to give me a gift, then they could upgrade all my current licenses to be lifetime (even though the add ons never had lifetime options). Or they could just give me a free renewal on the expired IP.Board license that I have. :D
