  1. We did this privately, but I"ll put the answer here for others. There is an option to "Manage Issues", where you can enter manual content for a particular date. You can do either opt-in or opt-out, it's up to you. But it always respects the "Send me news and information" flag. @Joel R I will add your other suggestions to my list. I am pretty sure I provide very detailed documentation with every single one of my modifications. It should have been part of your download. Fact check: true. No. Wait, I see what you're saying. No, it doesn't do that. It's an interesting suggestion and I'll put it on my list, but I'm not going to be adding anything that major in the near future. It will have to wait for the next feature sweep.
  2. Activity shows up immediately and will be retained for as long as you want. There is a setting to determine how long to keep the data, so you can have it cleaned out after 30 days, 60 days, 1 year, whatever. The tool will only start showing activity that occurs after installation. It's not going to pick up topics from a year ago (for example).
  3. Minor update pushed to the Marketplace. Changes include: Some fields were not saved properly when editing a topic. Fixed.
  4. That's... weird. I'm not sure how that could happen, but... OK. Anyway, all you have to do is set the default groups on the newsletter properties, and everyone will be subscribed - unless they actively unsubscribed. Can you elaborate on the database issue? What table(s) were affected? If the newsletters_subscriptions table was not affected, you should be fine with just editing that property.
  5. 1. Yes. 2. You can see a preview, but you can't edit it (unless it's manually written content). You can exclude specific forums from the list, but you can't exclude individual topics. 3. No. 1. I'm working on this, but no ETA yet. 2. No. The plain text template IS going to look terrible, and it will be used in a very small number of situations. Most email clients by now are able to read and format HTML... in fact, I may remove plain-text altogether (since it's so obsolete). And no, you can't add URLs, that's the point of plain text. 😉 3. Not at this time. I am going to work on this, but no ETA. If you don't hear from me by end of this week, please PM me to remind me. Thanks. A new version has been uploaded to the Marketplace. It contains a fix for these issues.
  6. The problem with including the full text of every post is that you may hit some limits with regard to storage (of the issue content) and, if you're using an API like SendGrid, with the request size. How much activity are we talking about? How many posts, on average?
  7. Can you list for me (or take a screenshot) of all the content types in your newsletter? I don't need details, just a screenshot of the "Manage Content" screen. I'd like to set up the same configuration that you have so that I can try to replicate it.
  8. Should be. When you set up the bulk mail, you enter the campaign ID. All emails for that bulk mail will be flagged with that campaign and SparkPost will track it accordingly. Yes. I think so, but to be honest, I haven't tested it.
  9. It's an app. Correct. When I have a little more customer interest in the mod. I invested quite a bit of time in it, only to be beaten to the punch by 2 days by someone else. 😞 I had hoped for more purchases. If sales pick up, I'll happily put in more time to develop other features.
  10. Recent Content sorts by start date, Recently Updated sorts by last updated date. I don't think you're going to see the reply text. That would require a custom modification. You can see the text of the content item (the topic), but not replies.
  11. A new version has been uploaded to the Marketplace. It contains a fix for this issue.
  12. I have to provide a title for the dialog. Long questions get truncated, which is why I put them underneath as well. You need to edit the language string (ACP -> Customization -> Languages). The one you're looking for is called frontnavigation_faq.
  13. It should only list the newsletters you can see.... are they all enabled? Does your group have permission to it?
  14. New version is uploaded to the Marketplace. Changes include: Sorting issue with the "Recent Clubs" content. Fixed. Added confirmation page when unsubscribing from a newsletter Extended all member ID columns to allow for larger values
  15. Definitely not. The whole point is that it's supposed to be automatic. A publish will do an immediate distribution, which is probably not what you want. Is this still a problem? I'm not able to reproduce it. Looks like this is a bug with the way the content is sorted. I have fixed it locally and I will push a new version in another day or 2. I just want to see what these other few issues are first.
  16. I think that's the problem right there... the system is probably not able to accept a value that high. I'll have to make some database changes to account for that.
  17. Version numbers only get incremented when there is a database change. There were none. Keeping the version number was intentional. The subscriber list uses the primary member group only. It does not take secondary groups into account. Are all of those members opted in to emails? When you view their notification settings in the ACP, do they have "send me news and information" checked? The newsletter will not send anything to someone who has opted out of emails.
  18. A new version has been uploaded to the Marketplace. Changes include: Error when viewing subscriber list. Fixed. Images were not showing up in the newsletters for Image blocks. Fixed. Club blocks generated an error. Fixed. Additional sort in the content type - recently updated content I fixed this error in the patch I just pushed, but that wouldn't explain why you have no subscribers. The code to display them in a list and the code to queue are actually different. You would not have hit this error during distribution.
  19. No. If you need fields from 2 sets, just create a 3rd set that includes all the fields from both sets. You CAN have one field belong to multiple sets. I'm honestly not sure, as I don't have the code to Member Map. It automatically detects anything that is classified as a "content item", but I don't know if the member markers are counted as that.
  20. You need to list off the individual forums.
  21. You should be able to replicate this. When you set up your newsletter you have the option to include the post content in the email. You can choose to truncate it or include the full text. The "click to show" will be slightly tricky, but you can add some JavaScript to your newsletter template to accomplish this... though it may not work with all email clients.
  22. New version has been pushed to the marketplace. Changes include: Adjustments to image sizing in default newsletter template. Newsletter was sending to members that were pending validation. Fixed.
  23. I don't have automatic update notifications. Just follow this topic, I always post when there's an update.
  24. Thanks. I have some minor fixes coming in the next couple of days, so I'll include this.
  25. Update pushed to the marketplace. Pages Records were showing broken images if no image was present. Fixed.
