  1. So... I was able to reproduce this issue (and yours too, @MGeek). Both issues are fixed and a new version is up in the Marketplace. @misfit76 - even with the white screen, I was still able to get into the ACP. You can try deleting your plugins/hooks.php file to see if that helps. Then you can get the latest version from the Marketplace and install.
  2. Then you're using something else for the cache.... any idea what you're using?
  3. Oh, stupid me. It's still cached. You should have an applications file in your datastore directory. Just delete it.
  4. What on earth???? This is so not my day. If you have access to the DB, run the following query to disable the app: update core_applications set app_enabled=0 where app_directory='templates'; That would be your access log. You should have a separate error log, though, which is where the error would likely be. If you can find it, please post it. I have to step out for about an hour, but I'll be back to look at this issue as soon as I come back. I cannot for the life of me understand what's happening here today....
  5. Excuse me while I go into a corner and scream out a few curses... this makes NO SENSE.... I will keep trying....
  6. It's automatically detected if you're using gallery images.
  7. I definitely need more information. When you say "my site goes down", what does that mean? Is there an error message? Frontend, ACP, or both? Anything in the php error logs? Obviously I'm not having that problem and no one else has reported that either, so I haven't a clue until I get more details.
  8. I couldn't really reproduce it, but I've uploaded a fix for it... it should work. Please take the latest version from the Marketplace and let me know if you have any further problems.
  9. New version has been pushed to the marketplace. Changes include: SendGrid support Cleaned up default HTML template Separate default HTML template for images New variable *|member_name|* can be included in the newsletter Newsletters included future articles/content. Fixed. "Allowed Groups" property was not respected in the subscription screen. Fixed. IMPORTANT NOTE: SendGrid support is completely untested, as I do not have access to a SendGrid account. Please report any issues in this thread and I will address as needed. Note that I may request ACP access if necessary for troubleshooting.
  10. @MGeek, I'm not having any issues on 4.1.18.1. Can you please be more specific in describing the issue? What steps are you taking? Where is the field not created? What error message are you getting? Is this an issue with creating the field in the ACP or is it an issue with putting the field on the form on the front end? If it's the front end, which component are you looking at (topics/calendar/etc)? There are so many different things at play here, you're going to have to give me as much detail as possible. Thanks.
  11. I can add this to my enhancement list. I can change the default template if people think that it needs changing. What I've learned over the years though, is that no 2 people ever want the same template. So I can change it to something without bullets, but I can guarantee that someone else is not going to like what I change it to. Links. There is a generic template that is used for all content types. I guess I could/should do something else for gallery, though. No timeline.
  12. Again, you can customize the view template any way you want. That means, allowing the URL field to be displayed as a link, or hiding certain fields for certain groups. It uses the same logic as any other template in the IPS theme.
  13. I will add that to my issue list. Note that I'm taking a couple of days off this week (my kids have off from school) so this fix may not hit the marketplace until next week.
  14. I hadn't realized that for some reason. I can add it then. No timeline, though.
  15. Not at the moment. SparkPost is integrated with IPS, which is why it was included in the app.
  16. Thank you to @Stefan Johansson_72643 for your assistance with this issue. A new version has been uploaded to the Marketplace. It contains a fix for this problem.
  17. Are either one of you able/willing to provide me with ACP access? I can't reproduce this issue.
  18. Just confirming that I have read this thread and that I'm looking into this issue. I'm not sure if I will be able to fix it today (depends how long it takes to find the issue), but I will update you guys with my progress later today.
  19. Is there anything in the system logs? You should be able to filter by the "newsletter" category.
  20. It should already work like this. If not, I suggest customizing the view template to make it work the way you want. This is definitely do-able.
  21. I understand. I just don't see an easy way around it at this point. Perhaps in a future release I can accommodate, but it's not something I can fix quickly... I just don't have the time available right now that would be required for a rewrite.
  22. I will fix that, thanks for pointing it out.
  23. Then exclude the moderator forums. I can't imagine a scenario where anyone would want to include moderator data in a public-facing newsletter... and that's the idea here, for this to be sent to a wide distribution base. Also, if I checked permissions on distribution, performance would be shot. This wasn't an oversight, this was something to which I gave considerable thought. Right now, I generate the issue content on publish, store it once. Then I send it out to each email in the list, in batches. Checking permissions would require almost a full rewrite of the distribution process. True. But for moderator forums, I would think just following the forum would be sufficient?
