  1. Ouch, I'm guessing the AdminCP has the same error? I don't think there is a tool to rebuild the settings cache outside the Admin CP. You edit the contents of cs_value in the settings entry?
    I guess you could enter something temporary to bypass the error, something random like this into cs_value

    a:2:{s:10:"mail_queue";i:0;s:13:"task_next_run";s:10:"1246017960";}

    Then you might be able to access Admin CP > System Tab > Cache Management. Recache Cache... settings row.

    Edit: I haven't tested this, so take a quick backup now.
  2. It's not a langauge bit, it's a setting. You change it in your Admin CP > Settings Tab > System Settings > Forums Tab > Board Guidelines. Scroll down to the second last textbox called Login Page Information.

  3. True but across multiple skins, css and text would be the best option. I think terabyte was talking about out of the box ideally this should be in the lang files. Terabyte probably won't need these instructions :P , but here is a quick work around until IPB adds this as standard.

    Open admin/applications/forums/modules_public/forums/forums.php

    Find (every instance - 3):

    $this->settings['pre_

    Replace With (every instance - 3):

    $this->lang->words['pre_

    Save admin/applications/forums/modules_public/forums/forums.php

    Open Admin CP > Look & Feel Tab > Manage Languages > go through each langauge > Translate... > Add String. And add the following lang strings and there respective langauge equivalents for pre_pinned, pre_moved and pre_polls.

    Example Add Entry
    Application: Forums
    Pack Name: public_forums
    Key: pre_pinned
    Default Text: Pinned

    Couldn't edit my first post, but fixed the edit.

  5. but u can control the language right there in the ACP? rather than messing with the language files !!

    secondly, you can use HTML with it....or has it been removed as well ?? LOL

    But when you have an English and a French board for example, it would use which ever words you enter in the admin cp regardless of which language the member has selected on the board.
  6. A lot of my old modification support topics are using incorrect download links. Would someone care to give me permission to edit my support topics, or fix the links, or fix the redirects.

    In Support Topics

    Redirect

    Should be Redirecting
