Same observation for me. .... and the users are already complaining about this. Additionnally, I noticed that accepting terms as a guest doesn't have any effect. As soon as I navigate to e.g. a subcategory, the banner pops up again even I have accepted it before. This bus needs to be fixed directly. Waiting for the next montly release is no option here!

Dear IPS support, next bug found. The link in the Email template "notification_pii_data.phtml" navigates to the AdminCP Adding 'base' to the URL fixes the issue. Please fix and test better next time.

Dear IPS support, the PII function delivers wrong data. It's dependent on the logged in user. Please fix it.

That was not the answer I was hoping for. 🤒 Can you please give an estimate when to expect a resolution? The error is really annoying and we have to check every new topic manually for wrong attachments.

Yes, this happens with different users in real life too. We have observed this bug a couple of times in our community with normal user accounts and it took some time to understand the scenario. In this video a VM and the Host itself is used. Dear IPS support, I have found a bug in context of the attachment claiming. IPS 4.7.9 installed, all hooks disabled. ------- Repro steps: Login with user 1 (user) Create a new topic Add an attachment, for example a picture, to the post Leaf the title empty Try to save the new topic => Error, because of missing field (Topic should not be saved) Logout user 1 (user) Login with user 2 (root) Create a new topic (same forum as before) Add an attachment, for example a picture, to the post Leaf the title empty Try to save the new topic => Error, because of missing field Fill in a title Save the new topic Result: The topic iteself is created correct In the activity stream the post is displayed wrong! The picture of user 1 is assigned to the post of user 2. Technical analyze: The temp key in core_attachments_map is a md5 hash based on the same input string. The string is more or less constant for a forum and doesn't contain a session or user id. The two screenrecording are showing the bug. That's true. But it's just noticeable that so many bugs have been released lately with IPS and especially with the reporting system. With over 15 years of experience in software development, I can tell you that debbugging this newly introduced code line once would have shown the error immediately.

Patch was missing, the code you have changed is exactly what I did too. But nevertheless, how can it be that such versions are released? It's not the first time that versions with such "simple" bugs are released? What about testing and quality management at IPS? This kind of bugs can be easily found during development time.

Dear IPS support, I have reported a bug in context of the reporting system 2 versions ago: With the latest version (4.7.5) the reporting system is again broken! No notifications (emails) are sent in case a new report is created. The IPS code crashes while preparing the notifications. The root cause of the crash can be found in this line. ...\system\Content\Content.php, line 1865 The member needs to be "constructed from data" for the "canView" call. Unfortunately, the member is constructed only 2 lines below. This line of code was introduced with IPS 4.7.5 without testing it sufficiently. 😞 Adapting the code in this way fixes the issue. I'm sorry to say that the last IPS versions were very buggy and caused a lot of effort on my end to analyze the problems! I am not sure if these monthly releases (continous delivery) are so good for quality and stability. Please think about adequate measures and bring back the quality of previous IPS versions!

Dear IPS support, closing a guest topic doesn't work as expected. Prerequisites Topic created by a user which was in the meantime deleted => Try to close/lock the topic. You see this broken dialog below. Important hint: This happens only when using the "Moderation actions" at the bottom of the page. The upper one are working as expected. Please have look. Anyone an idea how to override functions with defined return type "void"? Due to the fact that "manage" has a return type now, I'm unable to override this method. IPS adds automatically a try-catch around and then return value doesn't match? 😞

@Martin A. There is another code part which could be more robust. In case of and bad request response, the code throws an exception. => "Result" is not part of the return data. applications/communitymap/sources/Map/Map.php line: 269

Facing the same issue. The calculate language is in my case "de-de" and not only "de". Changing your parameter "lang" to only "de" works. This is most properly the root cause of this issue.

Yes, the moderator can use the "alert system". The user is an admin account without any restriction. As mentioned, this happens only when the topic is created by an user which is deleted afterwards. Correct, this is the same issue.

Dear IPS Support, there seems to be an issue with topics created by a guest. (guest = deleted user) Latest IPS version is installed. Administrator/Moderator is not restricted. Topics where the creator is available can be closed. Please have a look.

No, I tried the geocoding-api with a browser call yesterday and correct data was returned. Only the nominatim-api seems to be affected.
