I mean this: Someone official is sitting behind a webcam and streams this live video content to a service (no idea which one) on the internet. Obviously live. And all forum members can follow this live broadcast and maybe publish questions via a shoutbox beside the live stream. In real time. It should be a functionality similar to these xxx girls cams, to get some live user input, but I need it for other broadcasts ? Only to describe the functionality ? It would be great for monthly live news and forum member interactions...

Does Videobox work with Amazon S3 uploads?

I already PMed you a while ago about the creation of a solution to sell video channels...

It could be done - if I understood it right - via regular paid membership subscriptions, so if you subscribe you will automatically be promoted into a group with video category or channel permissions. Right?

But as there is a lot ressource power required for such video channels, it might be a good idea to have videos served by S3 in a secure way, so links to the video source can't be shared to the public for free...

I'm also interested in a single pay per view solution. If anybody has similar requirements or some tipps about it, please tell us.

I'm looking for a way

• Instance for single award: To have the award symbols on the frontend to be linked in any way, either a primitive external link OR an internal link to an article or subforum or collaboration group etc. To show directly what is required for this award with all relevant information on that independant place
• Instance(s) for award overview(s): But I still see the need for an award overview page to get an overview fast. For my needs, I would also like to choose a special award overview page. There might be more than one award overview page, and every single award belongs to one overview page. So I could realize 2 independant award systems. F.e. one for regular members and another one for customers.

Most important is just the linking feature for "customer awards"

Is it possible to link shown awards to static links?

I would like to award people if they take part in events and want to link the award images on the frontend to corresponding events or special (static) event pages. Preferable on clicking an award image you get like a popup option to choose if the award overview page OR the linked award special page will be called.

Some additional information and request:

- I really don't need a database explosion, if everyone in the forum should only get the SAME PM. But the idea behind is, that member accept the notification @PM better than "allow email by admins" feature during the registration process. If anybody has good ideas how to handle the marketing aspects, please tell. I believe PM features might have their own features.

I would need an option to send the bulk pm only as a notification in the regular pm app (should look the same, no reply option). so members are redirected (once or until they click away) to a central pm page, so the database will stay small. Possible or idea for solution?

Rest (3-5):  it's a lot about forum looks today. I would like to do some marketing and acquisitions with it. But it only works out, if there is like an easy template or widget integration for different object placements. A page with:

• responsive columns under the footer header. (at least 3)
• To place styled text, linked images and your forms (plural) flexible in a column or on a page.
• And some alignement at least.

I think visiual enhancements are a good upgrade.

Concerning the features:

1. Can you send individual emails or PM to special members when a user is awarded?
2. Is it possible to build 2 independent award systems inside the app? F.e. one for regular members and another one for a commercial group?
3. What is the initial award routine, when you first run the tool? Does it initially reward the conditions in the past?
4. Anybody has a recommendation for award image creations, f.e. png with transparent background? What is the best graphic format to look good on light and dark skins?
5. Are you planning to do upgrades for a long time?

I tell you the situation first:

A forum with a lot more than 100000 members in 10 years, we sent every year 1 email, some years more times, sometimes only to parts of the member list, in the near past really not a lot.

I want to do:

• Emailmarketing in the future, favorable with different marketing list extracted from different forum groups or by click behavior
• Bounce control
• Deactivate hard bounce and spam user
• I need to start with sending all existing users email as everybody has to accept a new forum contract

My questions:

1. Is mandrill bouncer suited for my request? Or is syncing to another provider in this situation better? Or using your bouncer and another email marketing tool, both? I know, mandrill bouncer is not an email marketing tool, but maybe it would be a great future upgrade or there are available tools that will work with your bouncer
2. Am I right that mandrill is an independant service and your tool only recognizes bounces at the moment?
3. By which provider will the forum emails be sent? By mandrill, or mailchimp, or even by the own forum server?
4. In my situation, would you recommend mandrill bouncer (I never had an email blacklist, we only sent via our own server with standard bulk mail, but we accepted deletion requests by email. There might be thousands of emailadresses, that don't wish to get emails, even they accepted so once. And thousands temporary email domains in the first years of the forum.) What can I do?

I would be glad to receive an answer and I hope it's the right place.

I have a few questions after reading most of the forms product informations and discussion:

1. I can't find an online demo, where you can look at some example features cases. To see how mighty and flexible the forms app is in layout and design.
2. Are records of the sender IP address possible? For contract evidence issues...
3. Concerning the layout: I need professional layout, great looking advertisement character. Fields for additional text informations only without the need of form fields to put data in. And the possibility to place text objects in columns (2, or 3,4,5) in a defined row. Also images on the top or beetween form field elements. Flexibility...
4. Last not least: what about forms in mobile skin? Are they responsive? Are they shown at all?
5. Form categories would be nice. And an initial overview page with the forms categories list shown as tiles. I think, tiles will get more attention in the future by all apps. And user find directly, what they are looking for if you have a lot of forms.
