You could put that notice in 150-point flashing red text on every other line of the page and some people still wouldn't read it.

That's a sentence where it's REALLY important to say "you're" versus "your".

I looked and cannot find if its a setting that can be turned on. So I am guessing that there is no way to print (with formatting..don't tell me ctrl+p its rubbish)the conversations?

The way the forum handles printing of topics would be great for conversations as well. I do not know why this was not provided from the start?

Can we please have this feature in the future.

Please don't jump to conclusions that IPB itself was hacked. :) There are dozens of possibilities. If the owner believes it was IPB itself that was compromised, they are certainly free to submit a ticket and we will assist them to the best of our ability in tracking down how the hacker got in and what damage was done exactly.

    C. Waffles reacted to Brett B in Warn System
I remember a Brandon saying a few months ago that he had customized the warn system for TWOP and in the future he'd like to expand upon what is offered by default in IPB. IMO the Warn System should be the primary medium for discipline for my community. In its current state, I feel as though it is fairly useless -- essentially a notepad that each user may or may not choose to view. What are some of your suggestions for the warn system?

How about when a warning is issued, forcing the user to acknowledge it before proceeding with any further activity on the board? Sure, you could send the user a PM via the warn panel, however that is fairly cumbersome and not connected to the actual warning whatsoever.

I don't remember how else Brandon said he customized TWOP's warn system, however I'd curious to hear what improvements others think could be made to the warn system.

    How about...

For packages that are $0.00, skip the part where you select a payment method, otherwise, treat it exactly the same.

Be able to limit how many times/how often someone can purchase the same package. X times in Y period (X = 0 is unlimited, Y = 0 is infinite). Time would make sure that the person can't purchase the same package more than X times in the specified period. Should default to unlimited (which would make the time period ignored). Good when you want to limit a package to once a year or something and the package is only supposed to be good for a few months of usage.

A option to specifically allow a trial of a package (and how long that trial should last.

    C. Waffles reacted to AtariAge in IPB 3.1.0 features
I had to add this to 2.3.6 and I added the same thing to my 3.0.2 forum two days ago. I have a "My Posts" link on my forum index that returns all threads (well, it's limited to 1,000) that you have participated in. I still have to tweak it a bit, but it works. I converted to IPB from phpBB, so my users were pretty unhappy that IP.Board was missing this feature. When I upgraded to 3.0.2 I can't tell you how many people asked why that feature was missing. I had to scramble to add it back.

Sure would be nice to see this as a stock feature since Invision is already so close. You can view all your posts and see all the threads you've started, but not all the threads you've participated in.

I will submit this mod once I've had a little more time to work on it.
