SeNioR- Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Hi Team. Please consider adding a sitemap for Google News. Thanks. Darek_Hugo 1
Management Matt Posted November 8 Management Posted November 8 How do you think it'd work? It would only really be useful for a small amount of your content, and possibly only via Pages or Blogs? SeNioR- 1
SeNioR- Posted November 8 Author Posted November 8 Yes, I mean Blogs and Pages. From what I remember, someone from your team did such an application. The thing is that Google no longer refreshes the RSS feed in Publisher Center. The sitemap is the only option to update data in Google News. SoloInter Posted November 8 Posted November 8 All our articles are taken into account in Google News. We have not given it anything other than RSS links to the categories of the article database. I did not know that it was now necessary to give another type of file. For the moment I have not noticed any shortcomings in the referencing of our articles with Google News. 19 minutes ago, Matt said: It would only really be useful for a small amount of your content, and possibly only via Pages or Blogs? For us, the forum was the lung and the center of our site. Since you made it easier for us to build databases, pages, etc., we were able to integrate and unify our old site into IC. Being able to comment on articles with your IC account, used exclusively until now for the forum, has allowed us to generate more engagement. We write between 2 and 5 articles per day. Sometimes more. We have more than 20,000 articles in the database. We use it for a little more than a little bit of our content ^^ In short, all this to say that if there is one thing that can be optimized for Google News, we are your first customers. SeNioR- 1
