Quote post - auto reply on a new line

Is it possible for all members to automatically reply to a post on a new line, giving their reply space from the quoted box?

See attached. Would look cleaner if the reply was auto retuned to a new line.

Maybe with CSS or JavaScript. It seems like something a theme designer could do. But if this was me, I'd just SHIFT+ENTER. I try not to worry too much about how it looks when others post since the whole "Let them cook" belief.

No CSS/JS needed, as you'll find that the following editor setting dictates whether a 'gap' appears between the quote and the content:

 

"Start new paragraph"

"Go to next line"
