I_cant_Swim_ Posted July 16 Posted July 16 Background: So today I had a member say he cannot find another member, and wonders if this is due to being on that member's Ignore list. I haven't asked for the name of the member yet, but I was wondering about the Ignore function: Questions: 1) If A puts B on his ignore list, A can no longer read B's posts, but I assume B can still read A's posts? 2) Is it possible to see for a particular member whether anyone is ignoring him/her? Thanks!

A will still see a message similar to "You are ignoring posts from this user. Click here to read it" while B will not know he's on the ignore list at all. That said, even if the member is on the ignore list, A should still be able to see B's profile, search for them in the search page, etc. 6 hours ago, I_cant_Swim_ said: 2) Is it possible to see for a particular member whether anyone is ignoring him/her? The only option would be to login as them from ACP and go to their ignored users page. I_cant_Swim_ 1
Marc Posted July 17 Posted July 17 If you are not able to figure what is happening from there, please let us know the member in question, and the member they dont believe they are able to see. We can then take a look for you. I_cant_Swim_ 1
I_cant_Swim_ Posted July 18 Author Posted July 18 (edited) Thank you, @Marc. The situation resolved itself. The member reported today that he can now find the person in question. I suspect he may just have been using the search window incorrectly. Edited July 18 by I_cant_Swim_
