I have been asked if it possible to set repeating monthly events in the calendar on the same day.

(eg - the first Tuesday of every month).

This does not seem possible (I think) - could be be something coming in a future upgrade?

This is currently not possible.  You might want to post the request in the feedback forum as it certainly would be handy to have for things like holidays.
