You have said you have boths shortened them and it hasnt worked, but not provided an example, and also stated you are instead looking for another method, but await a response. If you would like us to look at the new example, we would need this to look at. Just to point out there, this is not a restriction as such, but more a 'what is realistic?'. You are adding there an iCal larger than any I have seen there (in terms of quantity, not in terms of file size). It's a very very unusual scenario that someone would add 100k items to a calendar in one go, and more unusual that it would have events added for dates in which the majority of people on this site would be long gone, and even the technology they are on would be long since gone.
