Changing the date on a thread

I do prepare threads ahead of time, and occasionally, I will publish them before the scheduled time. Usually, it is just a few hours sooner, but sometimes, it can be a couple of days.

Today, I noticed that one such thread that was published before the scheduled date still shows the scheduled date (which is on the 9th). I cannot see where to change that so it would make sense.

Can you point me to where to change the published date?

If the topic is already published, you can use this:

You can manipulate the database but that's not recommended at all.

I have also coded an app that will allow the admins to change the start date of topics, among other things.

There is nothing within the core platform that will allow this
