Hello,

I changed the storage settings to point to a Wasabi S3 bucket. It's been running for almost 2 weeks now and none of the files have appeared on the cloud bucket.

Is this normal? It won't let me edit it either to confirm the connection.

Could contain: Page, Text, Monitor, Hardware, Screen, Computer Hardware, Electronics, Pc, Computer

Could contain: File, Monitor, Screen, Computer Hardware, Electronics, Hardware, Text

I wouldnt say that is normal, no. Especially as the system there states its actually moved over 25% of your downloads files. I would probably suggestion reverting to the backup taken before this. Unfortunately, using an alternative storage method to that which is supported natively, there isnt much further advice we can provide

Unfortunately all the posts made since then would be lost. 😞

While I understand what you are saying there, if its not moving data (you mention its not in the new location), and its showing it thinks it has, it will eventually delete from its current location thinking its moved. So you will lose a lot more than just the posts made since then

So are these progress bars moving at all? The 28.9% at the top suggest that something is happening.

It hasn't moved for a few days.

What happens if you choose the option to run the background tasks manually?

It eventually displays a page cannot be displayed.

I took the advice of restoring a backup.

Glad to hear you have your site back to where it needs to be. Of course when using an alternative service (or indeed doing any extremely large action), its always good to make a backup just before you start
