Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
RoHAdmin Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Hello Invision Community Support! We are unable to update to the latest version because after moving our PHP settings to use PHP8. After that is confirmed, I then hit "Continue" and get the following screen: We have ensured that all applications and plugins are either disabled or updated. There were no longer any compatibility messages being displayed. We were sure that everything was handled before we initiated the update. Please advise.
Daniel F Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 create_function was deprecated in PHP8. This means => Change to PHP8, then download the files from the client area and upload them to your filesystem. BTW, the error is weird, it should be safe to remove the additional code which loads the IPB_FIREWALL thing from your conf_global.php
RoHAdmin Posted February 14, 2023 Author Posted February 14, 2023 After updating, no forum pages will load. The forums themselves will display fine, but when you actually click on a post, they will not load:
RoHAdmin Posted February 14, 2023 Author Posted February 14, 2023 Disabled all non-Invision apps and plugins and we see forum posts loading again.
