David N. Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 How do I allow moderators to approve new posts by newly registered members? Right now my moderators do not see this:
Adriano Faria Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 They should be an unrestricted moderator or at least moderate the forum where the pending topics/posts belongs. David N. 1

Adriano Faria Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 If they are, they should see. Wait for someone from IPS to assist.
Marc Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 You would need to provide an example moderator and the name of the forum in question, so we can take a look for you
David N. Posted January 20, 2023 Author Posted January 20, 2023 Hold on, I see that moderators do see that except for one (des99) who is part of the Moderator group but is also listed on his own in the moderator panel: If I click the little X on the right of des99, does that just remove his personal moderator settings? Because he's also part of the "Moderator" group (the one at the top), and I would like for him to have the same rights as every moderator in the "Moderator" group. I guess that "X" that just says "Delete" scares me because I wouldn't want to delete the user himself, obviously.
Solution Marc Posted January 20, 2023 Solution Posted January 20, 2023 It would remove that entry entirely. If you want them to have the same rights as everyone else, you would indeed remove that entry. It's a moderator permission entry, not a member entry David N. 1

Marc Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 No problem at all. Glad you got what you need there David N. 1
