Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Carole Asselin Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 Coming from bbpress, I am familiar with editing posts and embedded images using HTML. Now, I am a little lost with how I can format my posts. Is there a way to adjust the size of images? Is there a way to format posts similar to when using HTML?
Solution Randy Calvert Posted January 1, 2023 Solution Posted January 1, 2023 When using the editor, just double click the image. A popup should appear that allows you to set a caption as well as control the image size. If you are editing raw HTML (meaning clicking the “Source” button in the editor if you’ve turned it on for your admin group) you can add whatever code you want.

I didn't know that. 7 hours ago, Randy Calvert said: If you are editing raw HTML (meaning clicking the “Source” button in the editor if you’ve turned it on for your admin group) Where is that? that is likely what I was looking for! OK I found the HTML option. When clicking it, it warns me of being dangerous. How dangerous can it be?
Randy Calvert Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 If it’s limited to you, admins, and trusted users it’s fine. Don’t enable it for guests or regular members. They could embed files such as malware or do other dangerous things. Basically it is a powerful tool that could be abused if someone wanted to. Treat it accordingly. Carole Asselin and Jim M 1 1

You would not want to provide this to individuals unless you absolutely trust them (i.e. Admins and Moderators). Not only could malicious items be included, such as JavaScript or iframes from other websites, but individuals could inadvertently mess up HTML DOM which renders a page illegible or hiding certain objects.
