Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Nemechek Navigator Posted November 5, 2022 Posted November 5, 2022 Since upgrading to Ventura MacOS 13, I can no longer log into the Admin Control Panel. Another admin can and says my profile is requiring me to reauthorize my account. I have no idea how to do this. I have cleared browser cache, rebooted and am no longer able to log in. I am getting an EXO error code. My admin is able to log in without difficulty but she is using a Windows based computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Jim M Posted November 5, 2022 Posted November 5, 2022 You have an external login provider that you have setup via OAUTH, if your account is only attached to that, you would need to re-authorize via the button rather than login via the login form. If you're getting a configuration error (EX0) when attempting your external login provider, you will want to setup an Invision Community password, you can do that by using the forgot password functionality of the login of the front-end of your community. Nemechek Navigator Posted November 8, 2022 Author Posted November 8, 2022 JIm, I shared your comments with my software team and this is their reply... "Good morning Dr. N Patrick. We've been digging into this issue but still could not find where the source of the error is. We're now suspecting that something changed on Invision end and caused the link to break, because we have not changed anything on our end, especially not without your explicit direction.Could you follow up with Invision and ask them if they recently updated their OAuth protocol in a significant way, and how? My development team shared the following screenshot for you to attach in your follow up message to them.
Jim M Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 Please go to ACP -> Support and apply patches found. There was an issue which we identified and patched today for OAuth.
Nemechek Navigator Posted November 9, 2022 Author Posted November 9, 2022 Hi Jim, there seems to be another issue. See the attached image. Is there a way someone from my technical team can contact you directly say via e-mail?
Marc Posted November 9, 2022 Posted November 9, 2022 They can contact using a ticket but would have to be added by you as an alternative contact
Nemechek Navigator Posted November 9, 2022 Author Posted November 9, 2022 I'm sorry but I can't even find where to start a support ticket.
Marc Posted November 9, 2022 Posted November 9, 2022 In your client area, there is a button for this at the top when selecting your license. However you can submit support requests here in the support forum also. Your client area can be found here https://www.invisioncommunity.com/clientarea/ Nemechek Navigator 1
