Social sharing images - where and how to add them?

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out how to assign a default social sharing image that will be present on all pages that do not have a user generated image.

This image will be shown in links shared to Facebook, Twitter etc and can be checked on sites like these:

https://socialsharepreview.com/?url=https://www.grow420.asia/

I've seen there are two sections in the ACP that look like they are about this kind of thing but can't find the bit for the default.

Is there any kind of how to guide on this, that so far I have missed?

It seems like I can add <head> tags in the theme editor so in theory could set it up in there, but it's a bit clumsy.

Many thanks in advance.

OK, so I have been playing with the live Meta Tag Editor - very cool feature.

But, one other issue is that the images seem to be held on a CDN.

That is not ideal for the OG Image - I think the image should be hosted on the site URL in this case.

Is it possible to add an image somewhere on the base URL that I can use as OG:Image?

It’s called Default Sharer Image

Could contain: Text, Number, Symbol

Yeah I got that wrong, sorry.

The cdn was caching the previous test image I was using so the Facebook debugger didn't work, I have got past that now.

Where would I find the Default share images setting?
