I had been trying to update from 7.4 to 8.0 for several days. Every time I tried, my home page would open as a blank page. I could refresh the page and it would come up but no links to anything else would work, just got blank pages. I found that the default memory limit for PHP 8.0 as installed was 32MB. Increased it to 128MB as specified by Invision and everything works properly now. I've seen several other posts with basically the same issue so just thought I would point this out.
