Christine35 Posted June 1, 2022 Posted June 1, 2022 Hallo, I create a new article on the blog and set a time when it should be published. When the time comes, the article changes the indication to the specified time, but is not published, still has the "Unpublished" notice. Does anyone have an idea what I'm doing wrong? Greetings from Christine
teraßyte Posted June 1, 2022 Posted June 1, 2022 (edited) Entries (or anything else that supports future publishing really) are published by a task that runs every 10 minutes. In your screenshot it says 4 minutes still. As long as it gets published before that count goes above 10 minutes everything should be working properly. If that time goes above 10 minutes then something is indeed wrong. Edited June 1, 2022 by teraßyte Christine35 1
Christine35 Posted July 27, 2022 Author Posted July 27, 2022 I have tried it several times in the meantime, as I wanted to unlock the posts in the middle of the night. They were all visible in the morning, but at different times. My time was 1:30 am, they became visible between 3:00 am and 5:00 am. But I can live with that.
Mark H Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 Yes, as @teraßyte mentioned, those are published by a system task and don't run at exactly the "publish time". The entries can be published up to ~ 10 minutes past the time set. (This also assumes you have regular enough traffic levels to trigger system tasks, or that you have setup the cron method to run them.) And it appears yours were published now, so you should be good to go.
