htacces apache for converted board redirection

that is some task, still not working with htaccess, will keep trying

i'm on apache

do i have to remove all files from the old location except htaccess file?

the old board is on a subdomain, the new board is on a main domain

i can't get this to work, all sorts of htaccess to point to the new board create a error 500

how should i create the htaccess file for this type or url's:

I think you need a to be a bit more specific in what you are trying to achieve here!

Hi @stu_m i have merged 2 boards, in that process (which went well) at the end you can fix the old url's to new url's in merged board using the htaccess merge-x rule.

That rule doesn't work or i don't get it to work
