Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
CoolCat123 Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Hi so i was just on my website not to long ago and when i go back to my website it says im banned but when i go to the admin panel it dont say that so idk what is going on here is some pictures
Pescao6 Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Well there is Ban Settings under AdminCP -> Members -> Members Settings But there is also individual member account ban settings under AdminCP -> Members -> Members, you might see your account flagged under Banned or Spammers.
CoolCat123 Posted February 7, 2022 Author Posted February 7, 2022 yeah i went there my account is not even banned for has been flagged in the AdminCP it says this Warnings & Restrictions No restrictions being applied
Pescao6 Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Did you try clearing the cache under Support? I can't think of anything else because that looks to me like an IPS ban, not a BAN through cPanel or a WAF which would look different. The other thing I would try would be to create and validate a new account on the AdminCP and see if that one works. That might tell us something.
Randy Calvert Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 If you've verified in the ACP that your account is not actually banned, try clearing your temporary internet files or try accessing the site with a different browser.
CoolCat123 Posted February 7, 2022 Author Posted February 7, 2022 i tried both of them still dont work
Pescao6 Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 At this point, if you haven't already I'd open a support ticket with one of those temp IPS admin accounts so someone from Invision can take a look at what might be going on.
Marc Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 I am not seeing any ban on your account there. Please PM me your IP address and I can take a look with that, as I suspect its your IP that is banned
