Rob Fielding Posted October 8, 2021 Posted October 8, 2021 Hi, I have a user who wants to delete some/all of his old posts. He's been on the forum for a number of years and finds some of his older posts embarrassing. Is it possible for me/him to selectively prune old posts (e.g. posts older than 2 years). If not, is is possible to delete his account and then re-use his username to set up a new one (thus clearing his post count to zero) or are the usernames unavailable for a certain time after deletion? Thanks, Rob
Solution Marc Posted October 8, 2021 Solution Posted October 8, 2021 There is no way in which to selectively delete posts which are over a set date for a specific user like that, however you can indeed delete the user entirely if you wanted to do so. Doing this would allow you to use the username again.
