Ihia
Hi Guys I am just working through the Our Picks stuff. When I clcik the Promote button i get the attached showing in Orange. I cannot find the "permissions" to allow these groups to view the item Does anyone know where I can find them? Many thanks
Solution Jim M Posted October 7, 2021 Solution Share Posted October 7, 2021 This would be permissions on the forum (and/or parent forums) which the topic is in that you're attempting to promote. The message is essentially warning you that you are sharing an item which is not available to guests (and possibly other groups) so they would see a prompt stating they don't have access and need to register/login. You can read more about member permissions here: https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/security-and-rules/member-permissions-r305/

I do understand where permissions are usually but "staff" are our Mods and admins and they have permission for all areas so its surprising to see them in this list. I will double check it and thanks again.

Just like any group, they would also need access to the forum (and/or parent forums) for that topic. 22 minutes ago, Ihia said: Further to my last I have double checked and the Staff group can see and post in ALL forums so they shouldnt be on this list I think. Could you please provide the forum and group in question? If your access details on file in the Client Area, please also update those.
