Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Tania Abdul Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 I have custom upload (image) fields. I do not see any way to delete the older content (images) I've uploaded. Surely I don't have to re-enter the whole record to get rid of 1 image..!? Thanks in advance! And sorry if this is covered elsewhere; I searched for quite a while.
Morrigan Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 The background tasks should clean this up. It will take a bit as its not officially orphaned until its completely gone so if you have the "soft delete" option then it won't be until after its perma deleted.

There is actually a bug in Pages that does not clean/delete uploaded record images and images uploaded via fields of type Upload. The images are indeed orphaned. I have reported the bug and this should be fixed in the next release. Edited April 3, 2021 by Sonya* Tania Abdul 1
Daniel F Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Correct:) We've actually located and fixed few bugs while looking at the above bug:) Quote - Fixed orphaned files being left over when deleting fields, records and databases in the AdminCP. - Fixed orphaned files being left over when deleting custom fields throughout the Suite. - Fixed orphaned files being left over in some cases when uninstalling applications.
