Redmak Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 We can only flag those that register to spam the boards, but what about guests that keep spamming the contact requests and other areas enabled for guests? I have two-factor turned on for the ACP and it is a pain to have to go through that to ban a spammer, spammers should not take up any more time of day than is absolutely needed imo. This little spammer was sad we never replied to their spam.
bfarber Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 You may want to avoid letting guests post topics and so forth in that case - if you allow guest posting, you're going to see spam. It's just the nature of the beast.
Morrigan Posted July 15, 2020 Posted July 15, 2020 @Redmak You may want to consider "Content moderation" for guests. It discourages guests from posting multiple times when they don't see their content come up at all because its being monitored.
