abobader Posted June 23, 2020 Posted June 23, 2020 Hi, I try to find away to delete Validation members at once, I have more 70 pages, I forgot to do it before we upgrade from 3.4.9. Any way to do this? Thanks in advance.
Morrigan Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 Dashboard > Login & Registration > Registration tab > Remove unvalidated members It is retroactive but may take a bit. abobader 1
abobader Posted June 24, 2020 Author Posted June 24, 2020 Thanks @Morrigan I tried that before, but I will reduce the time and try again if that the only option.
Morrigan Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 Okay, do you have a group called "validating" still @abobader? Because the upgrade from 3.4 to 4.x should have removed that. Validating users no longer have a group. They sit in a unvalidated "member" status until they validate. If you still have a group then you need to just remove ALL of the members from that group and delete the group. abobader 1
abobader Posted June 24, 2020 Author Posted June 24, 2020 Just now, Morrigan said: Okay, do you have a group called "validating" still @abobader? Morrigan Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 So how are you verifying that they are unvalidated? abobader 1

Morrigan Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 So the setting above SHOULD get rid of them. If its NOT then the best option is to submit a ticket. It sounds like something isn't working correctly.
abobader Posted June 24, 2020 Author Posted June 24, 2020 @Morrigan Reducing the time is working as I test, from 70+ pages down to 4 pages. Well done.
Morrigan Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 Yeah it takes a bit normally. And it will only get rid of the members past the time frame you set. So anyone that hasn't hit that time frame will still be there but will delete when they get beyond it. abobader 1
