I have had a look but needed to ask the hive mind 🙂

First off, if technical ability was measured from 0-10 (10 being good) I put myself at about a 2.5 so please go easy on me.

I have some blogs which contain links to external companies. One of those companies wants to pay for a 'follow' link in one of the blogs. 

They noticed that any link posted in the Blog defaults to a no follow link and of course, would like it to be changed. 

How do I go about removing the no follow restriction on links when posted please.?

You can select domains that you want search engines to follow in your ACP. Just search for "nofollow" in your ACP or go to Settings > Posting > Links
