W.W.W Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 i have 40k excluded pages how can i fix this?
opentype Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 The screenshots don’t give enough information. You are showing the 1.3 K errors, not the 40,000 excluded pages. You need to click on the last tab and it will give more information about why the pages were excluded. Most of the time, there is not much you can do. The pages might just be redirects (so excluding them is recommended) or Google might have decided that the pages are not worth showing in the index. That’s Google’s decision. There is no easy “fix” for that.

bfarber Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 A meta noindex tag is output on empty category listings, and on user profiles that have never submitted anything - that is by design, and helps control and direct Google so that they focus on actual pages that have content. "Fixable" is subjective there...I wouldn't consider it broken (it is in fact by design). If there is a meta noindex tag being output, then that is an area that was directly targeted to instruct Google to exclude the pages.
