LDDG Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 Hello all, For some reason, Spotify embeds no longer work on IPS. My site is currently on IPS 4.4.7 and they were working but for the past few weeks, they no longer work. I tried on IPS's Test Forum and it also does not work. Here is a sample Spotify URL that used to work but not any longer: https://open.spotify.com/track/3nd5T9R83RsqZO6O9wuQnb?si=liyVncWlSuidSxnw4AC-yw When I try to embed the URL above, I'll get the following message from IPS: "The link could not be embedded because there is no video at that URL." Embeds that were already posted in the past, have stopped working. I wonder if Spotify changed something on their end, that makes embedding stop working on IPS?
bfarber Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 IIRC this was fixed in 4.4.8. It was indeed caused by a change on their end as I recall.

Hi @bfarber I just tried it in the Test Forum here at IPS and I still get the same error message. I don't know if the current version used here at IPS is 4.4.8 but I would assume so.
