Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Jheroen Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 Hi all, I have a member that was deleted from the board back in 2013. The posts were left behind as guest user. That user asks if the individual posts from the account which are still visible in the forum can be deleted (gdpr etc). Is this possible when the account is already removed? If it is, how?

How can he/she be sure posts in question done by them ? Or the posts questions only guest that showing? If so how many posts are you talking about ?
Jheroen Posted September 15, 2019 Author Posted September 15, 2019 Hi Pete, User knows which posts they made, which nick they used etc. I don't know how many posts it's all about but imho many
bfarber Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 There is no mass method of removing these posts, you would need to do it manually.

GDPR does not apply to post content. Since the posts are attributed to "guest" there is no privacy issue which is what GDPR is about.
