Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Fierce God Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 I am looking for the way to only have the social media handlers as a connection only Is there a way to make the handles not be a sign up option and only as a sign in and account connect option?
Joel R Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 The approach would be to hide the community sign up options. Keep in mind that even when clients sign up with a social media account, it still creates a community account.
Fierce God Posted May 15, 2019 Author Posted May 15, 2019 No i don't want to hide the sign up i just want to not have ppl be able to sign up via social media and only by default email sign up, then have them connect social media handlers via account settings or by a auto welcome msg i say this due to auto welcome not being compatible with social media login, and also fosters referral app not being connected with social media sign up
bfarber Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 It's not possible out of the box - that's not really how social media login handlers are intended to work, and as such is not a functionality included in Invision Community.
