AlexJ Posted November 26, 2020 Posted November 26, 2020 @Makoto - Possible to add option so that if IP is proxy it blocks user or registering the user?

That seems a bit out of scope for this add on, yet here's something that claims to do this: Though, it seems that add on also blocks disposable emails using a different mechanism. @Makoto's version uses Kickbox, while the one above uses valdator.pizza. AlexJ Posted November 27, 2020 Posted November 27, 2020 @Paul E. - Thanks for suggestion but don't need 2 addons doing something similar. Plus, I have seen Makoto work since years. So I am going to stick with him.
The Britain Posted June 24, 2021 Posted June 24, 2021 Howdy, I just purchased this. Are there plans for 4.6?

Steph40 Posted June 24, 2021 Posted June 24, 2021 (edited) @The Britain Works fine for me on 4.6 and php 7.4 You can download it manually if you choose install and choose ips 4.4 from here not your website marketplace. Edited June 24, 2021 by Steph40 The Britain 1

Gabriel Torres Posted June 27, 2021 Posted June 27, 2021 (edited) @Makoto It's been a while since I last checked the list of members with disposable emails in our community. Right now we have 29 pages of users with disposable emails. My suggestions: In the "Members with disposable e-mails list, add a new column: number of posts An option to bulk prune all users with disposable e-mails, ideally with an option to set the number of posts, so, for example, we can safely purge all accounts with 0 posts. This could be added either in the screen mentioned above or at the main Member > Members > [gear icon] path In the list mentioned above, the links to the users' profile is incorrect. Where it is "&do=edit" should be "&do=view". Thanks! Edited June 27, 2021 by Gabriel Torres Thomas P 1
Thomas P Posted July 27, 2021 Posted July 27, 2021 @Makoto Just a quick question to make sure we are on path: Does your app support PHP 8. Is it safe to upgrade to v8?

Is it safe to upgrade to v8? At the moment I haven't done any testing on PHP 8 yet. I'll get PHP 8 running on my development server and run some tests this week and make sure everything is functioning properly! Thomas P 1
Makoto Posted July 28, 2021 Author Posted July 28, 2021 Testing shows there are no existing compatibility issues with PHP 8.0, but there are a couple minor/non-breaking bugs that will be addressed for IPS 4.6 in the next release. This update has already been submitted to the marketplace, but at the moment updates are taking up to 1-3 weeks to be approved by IPS, so there may be a bit of a delay before the update is officially available. Thomas P Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 New release with PHP 8 compatibility, awesome - Thanks 👍
Emediate Posted April 6, 2022 Posted April 6, 2022 (edited) Small bug I have come across. I enabled logging. Now when I try and disable logging, I hit the following error: Quote Sorry, you do not have permission for that! 2S119/1 The CSRF protection key did not match. This may indicate a plugin or theme is out of date. Please contact technical support for more information. Edited April 6, 2022 by Emediate

Emediate Posted April 7, 2022 Posted April 7, 2022 No problems. It doesn't seem to be bogging anything down so I can live with in the meantime. Thanks for being responsive! 🙂
Makoto Posted April 7, 2022 Author Posted April 7, 2022 I've pushed an update addressing this and a few more CSRF issues now! It should be up live as soon as IPS is able to review and approve it. Thanks as well for your patience! Emediate 1
Emediate Posted April 11, 2022 Posted April 11, 2022 Just confirming update has been received and fixed this problem. Thank you. Makoto 1
