Upgrading PHP / SQL version

We're currently running PHP 5.6 and MySQL 5.5 on IPB 4.3.6

We are planning to upgrade to the latest PHP/MySQL versions, pre upgrading to IPB 4.4.

Will this cause any issues with our current IPB 4.3.6, or will it be seamless?

You will have issues with PHP 7.3 on 4.3.6, but it does support PHP 7.2

Thanks Stuart. How do I get around forum downtime, do I just update PHP and then the forum straight after? Will it allow me in the ACP to do the update?
