Redis installed but not showing as cache chopice

Can any of you kind people help?

I have redis installed on CentOS 7;

# redis-cli ping
PONG

But in the ACP of my Invision Power Board Forums I'm not able to select it an a data cache option. Anyone know why?

Did you install the PHP extension for redis too?
