Are mp3 links supposed to embed when posted?

Hi,

If I post a link to an mp3 sound effect file in a forum post and mp3 is a permitted file type in AdminCP, is it supposed to rich embed with a relevant HTML5 audio player, even a basic one?

Or is only supposed to work for actual uploaded mp3 attachments only?

Links - no.

Uploads - audio, no. Video, yes.
