Show profile files on registration?

why is there no option for showing profile fields on registration ? is there an add on?

There is a built-in option

In the Profile Field settings, edit the individual profile field, and right at the bottom is a section called Permissions with an option to "Show on Registration Page".

That's weird... as I have it:

It shows in all my profile fields, regardless of whether they're required or not, and in every category that I've got. I had it in IPB v.3 too.

Ah, I found it... Maybe it's because I've got Registration set to full and not quick:

You have to turn off quick registration in order to show custom fields on the registration screen.

Alternatively, you are encouraged to use the profile completion feature instead. This presents a lower barrier for entry for most users, while still encouraging them to fill out their profile.
