Hi Guys,

I've looked at member group settings but I just can't find a way to block new members posting links. I want to restrict it for a month.

I'd be very surprised if it can't do this?

Seems like only globally possible atm. I would like to have this based as user group permission too.

This isn't something you can do out of the box, but the following plugin gets you somewhat there. You can put posts with external links for new members into the approval queue, for specific usergroups.
