Let members chose categories they want in messages widget

Hello all,

I manage a forum with two main subjects. People interested by one of these subjects are not necessarily interested by the second.

They ask me to can to hide messages about this second subject in messages widget.

Is it possible? Will it be implemented one day?

What messages widget?

The best place to filter content per user is the Activity Feed sections. It already has filters and you can also set up feeds for everyone as admin. 

You could also create individual pages around topics, clubs users can join and so on. But I don’t know your site …

By messages widget, I mean block of latest messages.

Do you mean a block of latest topics? 

If yes, then you should be able to edit the settings on the block to filter out the forums.

Latest topics or latest messages, both.

I can edit but I would like that each member can chose himself.
