4.3.6 Upgrade Stuck

Featured Replies

Posted

Went to upgrade from 4.3.5 to 4.3.6 using the automated Admin process but got a warning.

I got a notification of a need to increase memory limit to 128MB. I changed the PHP.INI to 128MB and the upgrade process is stuck now.

Can't access AdminCP and the ADMIN/UPGRADE just results in a checksession header which is a blank page.

How can I manually restart the upgrade without having to reinstall the entire website?

Thanks

What happened when go to /admin/upgrade ?

Clear browser cache and cookies and go to admin/upgrade again.

You don't have to reinstall, please don't do that.

Also, submit a ticket.

When I clear out the browser and close it; it makes no difference.

this going be ticket if can't move on but this my best tip "backup" before upgrading as then can revert to the point site was working.

Thanks already submitted a ticket.

Backups are done daily.

Blank page usually means a php error. The only change you made was to your PHP.ini, have you tried reverting that change? You may have introduced a syntax error there that's causing this problem.
