I think I'm complicating a simple request.. (Weather Widget)

How can I get a weather widget into my sidebar? (please see Note: at bottom)

I'd like to get weather shown in a block on my sidebars. Does anyone have a tutorial or similar?

It doesn't have to be a purpose built Weather Widget. It could be using a simple customizable "widget" addon and injecting some weather code into it? etc?

Appreciate any guidance.

 

 

Note: This addon is noted as outdated & broken. You're directed to this follow-up addon, not labeled as broken, so I bought it. After I bought it, well, you can read my feedback. So $10 out of my pocket and zero functionality to show for it.
