Auto Vimeo URL in Databases

I have created a database containing records where the content field is a Vimeo URL which I would like to have appear automatically ready to play when the record is displayed. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to work in databases, unless I have configured something wrong. 

If I paste the URL into the comments field for the record it shows up fine, but not on the main record. 

Any advice?

Vimeo URLs can just be pasted into an Editor field in Pages. It works just like in the forums. That’s what I usually do for video content. I just add an editor field and people can paste a YouTube or Vimeo video and it will get converted just as in the forums.

If you want to use an URL field, you would have to add some custom code to turn the URL into a video embed.
