MySQL Version Recommendation, although a pretty new MariaDB

Hi all,

My IPS community (current version: 4.3.4) keeps complaining about my MySQL version.
My server runs cPanel and I have the latest available MariaDB installed (10.2)
This is the warning I get:

MySQL Version Recommendation

You are running MySQL version 5.5.5-10.2.16-MariaDB. While this version is compatible, future releases of our software will require version 5.6.2 or above.

Should I do something fix this (or should Invision write a patch to recognise MariaDB better)? MySQL itself won't be updated, as I don't use it anymore, MariaDB will.
