Merging two communities with Converter

Hi, 

I run a community with IPS 4 Suite - and it works super well (congrats for the great job!).
In fact, it works so well that a sister community now wants to migrate from phpBB3 and merge with us.

Can I "just" run the converter tool on their base, from my existing ACP? Will it preserve everything from my pre-existing community, while importing their data?
If so, what will happen for duplicate users (same login and/or email)?

Hi,

Yes, you can run the converter to merge the PhpBB site into your existing community, member accounts will get merged with existing ones if they match an existing email address in your community. A member account that doesn't have a matching email address but does have a display name that is already in use will have some numbers added to the display name (they must be unique).
